Paediatric First Aid - Blended learning

This innovative course combines a one day on practical session which is classroom based and 6 hours of knowledge-based theory completed via a workbook prior to your practical session. The course is most suitable for Childminders, Teachers, Nannies, Early Years Practitioners, Childcare Professionals, Parents and Carers of children or anyone who would like to learn a new skill. No prior first aid knowledge is required.

Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day)

This one day course provides you with the essential skills to deal with a first aid emergency with the workplace. This course is ideally suited for low-risk workplaces.

Schools First Aid (1 Day)

In house first aid training which has been specially designed for teachers, teaching assistants, welfare staff and volunteers. This course covers the most common injuries and illnesses in schools.

Outdoor First Aid

This course is perfect for anyone who wishes to work in an outdoor setting. The Outdoor First Aid is a two day (16 hour) first aid course which is valid for three years. The content of the course is designed to equip you with the knowledge of how to deal with potential illness, sickness and injuries of children and the adults in an outdoor setting.

Safeguarding Adults

Everyone who works with vulnerable adults should have knowledge of the safeguarding procedures, what to do if you suspect signs of abuse, how to record and report suspected abuse and the importance of efficient record keeping. This course gives you the key information and skills to fulfil that role.

Epilepsy awareness training is designed for anyone working with those suffering from epilepsy. The course teaches learners about the causes and effects of epilepsy, as well as ensuring that they know correct ways to care safely for someone who is having an epileptic seizure; this will cover the various types of seizure and how their effects may differ.

Fire Safety

This course provides the learners with an all-round knowledge of what to do in the event of a fire. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of a designated Fire Marshal, how to safely and effectively evacuate a building as well as exploring fire prevention methods.
